Rebecca is a self taught multi disciplinary artist. She is currently using the medium of photography to develop her practice.
Her most recent exhibited work is part of (RETURN) TO THE SEA – a year-long exhibition showcasing the work of over 150 photographers from around the world in Worthing UK.
Her most recent ongoing project is concentrated around her perimenopausal journey. Using self-portraits to share some of the unknown symptoms of menopause and spark open conversation. She is investigating incorporating stitching into her practice. She is also creating a photographic record of the Stuart Hall archive project.
Previous projects within Rebecca's practice have involved sporting events such as the London Paralympics in 2012 and the European wheelchair basketball championships in 2015.
Rebecca is an active participant to many photography based communities such as the ReFramed Network, UK Black Female Photographers (UKBFTOG) and has been taking part in the inaugural Trace Mentorship which provides opportunities for female identifying photographers over the age of 35.
Rebecca's work has featured as part of the ReFramed Network's publication 'The Travelling World Is Not Arriving' and included in the Format Festival 2021 online. Rebecca was also part of the UKBFTOG Living The Dream exhibition at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in London in 2023.
